Everyone here at Kraken Event Solutions are working to do our part to minimize our environmental impact. We believe that it is our collective and individual responsibility to preserve and tend to the world in which we all live.
We are proud to have implemented a Solar Powered micro-generation system on our primary Shop/Warehouse. In addition to that system our shop is also fully heated and cooled on a closed loop Geo Thermal System. The combination of these systems helps eliminate our carbon emissions from our shop as no natural gas or fossil fuels are used for heating and power. Our solar power generation system generates far more power than we use, in turn supplying clean energy back into the power grid.
While electric vehicle technology is progressing at a great pace we are unfortunately unable to be fully implement this technology within our company. While we wait for this technology to progress we have ensured our vehicles meet all emission standards and are specially equipment to maximize fuel efficiency. Our trucks have SCR and DEF systems fully equipped and are certified clean idle. These systems remove dangerous NOx emissions produced by diesel engines and turn it into nitrogen and water. We also special order our trucks with special gearing and motor combinations to maximize our fuel efficiency based on the equipment and trailers we haul.
At Kraken Event Solutions we also highly recommend the elimination of one use plastics and provide all our crew and personnel a reusable water bottle when hired. We believe that even the smallest things can cause a huge effect in our efforts to help our environment and we hope more people can join us in this fight to reduce our negative effects on our planet.
